This are times of great difficulty for Earth, the year is 2025, the world is overpopulated, full of contamination, the global warming it's increasng and exist a shortage in vital resources like water, metals and oil. This problems are creating a great crisis, there are uprisings from Morocco to China, the african countries are in civil war or anarchy finally in America and Europe have their worst economic crises since the great depresion.
All this problems in our world don't escaped from the overview of the superior beings of the universe, what have decided to do a council for debate the fate of mankind. The place for this discussion it's a giant dark planet in the center of the universe in what under it's old surface reside the labyrinthic Cosmic Tribunals from where the most powerful races of the cosmos rule with iron willover the lesser beings.
In the principal room of the Cosmic Tribunals, the council was presided for a giant orange orb of ener, so big that all the other creatures look insignificant.
This great council start now, that the debate for decide if we have to do somethig for save the mankind begin!
From the party for leave the humans die, the word was taked for a gigantic winged serpent:
-Oh my lord, Hrmo-Saal, the wisest being in the universe. All we know that this insignificant race has show to the universe the worst aspects of their nature, in uncountable oportunities they haave commited the worst crimes like: slavery, war, racism and sexism. If them are so incompetents for survive his own civilization, they deserve die.
-These are words very strong, Zri Ljor Thn-said with ominous voice Hrmo-Saal:-I espect that you can demostrate that with facts.
From the party for save the humans, a estrange creature half fish and half scorpion said with voice potent:
-Oh Great Council, It's tre that humanity don't have the best records and they actions can look despicable for us. But I promise show to all of you, that all this acusations was only provoked for a few of greedy humans and since only two of their centuires they all learned form their mistakes and was changed for the better.
-These are declarations very powerful, Xshohhwalzc-exclamed Hrmo-Saal with the same mysterious tone:-I expect tat this
The debate was long and intense, both parties demostrate their cases with powerful facts and testimonies. Zri Ljor Thn give to the council the worst of mankind but the impresive rhetoric of Xshohhwalzc do better for win the hearts of the council. Finally after 10 days of tortuous discussions, Hrmo-Saal taked a decition:
-I hear both parties, the two have good reasons for their propositions, but finally I have to be accord with Xshohhwalzc. She has sowu to us the irrefutable facts that humans have reason and emotions, what give them a serie of inalienable rights.
With this words the party pro human give a great sound of rejoice and the losers show all his anger against the desition of the great orange orb. But Hrmo-Saal interrupted all the council when he said:
-But it's also true, that humans can be very destructive and hateful, this reason leave me to propose that this help should be offerto humans with a serie of conditions for only one of us, other thing more, if mankind don't show any signs of cooperation we no will have reasons for heelp them.
Zri Ljor Thn and all his allieds take this with great excitation and with a breif discussion between them, all agreed with Hrmo-Saal.
-Finally We have to choose who going to go to Earth for complete this mission. What about of you, Xshohhwalzc?-exclaimed the great orange orb.
The scorpion-fish creature response with humility:
-Sorry my great lord but my place is here in the Tribunals but I know someone that it's more prepared for this situations.
Who is this person-interrogated Hrmo-Saal
From the crow one giant bird of fire take fly and go to the front of the council:
I my lord, the phoenix Kvedghe'q'mtazhbla-mtits'chvask'vlizghvoplevas, offer my services for this task.
The giant energy being was in silence for a moment:
-If Xshohhwalzc and Zri Ljor Thn don't oppose I give you the authorisation for go to Earth.
The two rivals look the one to the othen anf after a long time they agreed with the council.
After the end of the council the phoenix and the scorpion-fish creature discuse about the mission. Xshohhwalzc remenber to her friend that Zri Ljor Thn will use his power for condemm all mankind to oblivion and that all precautions have to be taked. The phoenix hear all the words of the scorpion-fish creature and said something more:
-I choose too that I have to change my name to something more earthly.
Xshohhwalzc response curious:
-What name have you in mind?
The phoenix simply exclaim:
-Firebird
Firebird have to expain to the confused scorpion-fish creature what that name in english, the lingua franca of earth, simply mean "bird of fire" and that the fact that humans will never be capable of pronounce Kvedghe'q'mtazhbla-mtits'chvask'vlizghvoplevas correctly.
Finally after take all the official proceedings completed, Firebird abandon the Cosmic Tribunals for take course to earth where the humans don't know that a little big help will come for surprise.
