"Omigosh! It's Zelda!" Link thinks to himself. "I can't let her see me this... this... FAT! ugh!" but it was no use. No matter how hard he tried to suck in his gut, it wouldn't budge. It was simply too big, so trying very very hard, he finally managed to pull his belt over his stomach, hoping it push in his great gut somehow.
Zelda finally approaches a distance where she could recognise him.
"Why hello there Link" she greeted him, her voice sweet as ever. She finally came face to face right in front of him, with Link's belly almost touching her ultra trim girlish waist. Link wondered how she managed to stay in shape when she was (according to his own account) stuffing her face just as much as he was.
"What have you been upto. I haven't seen you in sooo long... oh Link!" she proceded to hug him when all of a sudden she felt a big bump from Link's stomach.
Her eyes slowly rolled down to his gut hanging out from his belt and to Link's utter embarassment asked
"Link, have you been putting on some weight lately?" she pinched Link's cute lovehandles that stuck out on either side of his pot belly.
"Uh... actually it's the fabric of this new cloth."
"Oh is it!" sneered Zelda not for a moment believing his lame excuse. "Pull up your shirt!" she ordered him
"What?"
"You heard me. I want to see how much weight you've really gained."
"What? In the middle of the forest?!" Link protested. But before he could say or do anything, Zelda pulled up his shirt as a massive fleshy gut rolled out, finally free from the constrains of his tight shirt. Infact his gut filled out so big, Link almost thought it wouldn't stop, but it finally did.
Zelda then completely took off his shirt, and began pinching about his gut. First his lovehandles, then placing her finger into his bellybutton, shaking his stomach from side to side to see how much it jiggled, and even went about patting it a few times.
"Hmmm... so far it seems most of the weight has landed on your stomach." Zelda said after thorough thought and analysis on his condition. "And a little on your thighs, face, and buttocks I might add. Perhaps it's MY fault for ordering all those feasts all your long. But really I never thought you'd stuff your self silly and bloat up like a pig!"
Link's face was red with embarassment. He could even hear some of the skull children giggling around.
"But don't worry Link, soon we'll have you on a diet, trim and ready for your next battle in no time!"
Link couldn't muster up the courage to say or do anything anymore, because the slightest movement would make his belly (already on public display) shake and jiggle like crazy now without the comfort of his thick shirt to hide it.
"Can I have my shirt back please?" Link said trying to remain stiff as a board.
"No. Infact YOU are going to walk back all through the forest, into the town with me, so EVERYONE can see how much you've let yourself go, fatso!" Zelda snickered as she patted his stomach again.
"Please Zelda, give it back!" Link reached for his shirt from her hand, but she'd already dropped it on purpose.
Link found it incredably difficult to bend over his enormous gut, and through strenous effort (perhaps more than he'd taken while facing Ganon in his earlier days) he managed to completely bend over, but just as he was about to pick it up, his pants split with a cracking sound, that made Princess Zelda and the skull children laugh all the more.
"Fat fat fatty Link" chanted Zelda
"Damn that bitch Zelda" Link thought to himself angrily. "After all the times I've rescued her!"
"Come on Link! Follow me. We'll get you some attire for your growing waistline from some of my father's old clothes. God, you're gonna be fat as him sooner than I'd thought. (sigh)"
And all through the way, the Forest creatures, the townsfolk, even the children were astonished when they saw Link stride past them in the clothes he'd out grown. Some of them laughed passed mean comments about his weight, but most were just shocked. Was this the same lean young boy that saved their fair Kingdom so many a time?
Link could even hear some of the women whisper about him to others.
"Poor fellow, the feasts really have taken a toll on his figure." one remarked. The others nodded in agreement. "Where is Princess Zelda taking him?" another asked. "Perhaps to get some elixir to reduce his paunch, or perhaps just to the gym." Almost everyone in the gathering laughed at that remark.
Link tried his best to hide his stomach with his hands, pushing it in, even taking the belt off his pants (which he obviously didn't need anymore to hold them up) and strapped it around his gut tightening it so it could atleast slightly hold in his stomach. (which later snapped and to the crowd's delight, made his stomach bulge up and down as it bloated to it's original size)
"I wonder what Zelda is going to do about this?" wondered Link.
