Getting to know you...

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" responded the big blonde.
"You are going to have to move to another seat, sir." repeated the stewardess.
"You are joking aren't you?" Jason turned round and called over the other stewardess who knew him. "Hey, Alice, this yound lady is trying to move me from my seat."
"Not him, Jen, the one in front." called Alice. Jen apologised and turned to tell the tall, scruffy student-type in the seat in front that he was the wrong side of the plane.

Jason turned to Kanya, "That was a close thing, I was looking forward to getting to know you a bit on the flight." He smiled.
Kanya felt a fluttering in her stomach and felt her face warming. "Come on get a grip" she thought. She returned the smile.
"What have you got to read on this trip?" she asked.
"Its a book by a new writer I haven't read before. I think its a kind of mystery set in Bermuda - I thought it would be relevant to this trip."
"What sort of mystery?"
"I've only read a couple of chapters but there's this guy who works in a hotel and one of the guests disppears and he tries to find her."
"You'll have to let me know how it turns out." said Kanya. "Are you staying in a hotel in Bermuda?"
