Inside the biggest room Sue sat in the middle of it. There was no furniture or anything in there. There was only her.
"Ok Sue you can do it," she thought to herself. "Just remember what you felt when you were in Reed's lab." She tries to concentrate but she sees that she wasn't getting any bigger. "Why is it not working." She starts to silently sob. She puts her face into her hands. She cries for a few seconds. Then something hits her on the head. She looks to see what it was. Then she found out it was her head hitting the ceiling. She had to be about 70 feet tall.
"Hey I did it." She then shrinks down to 30 feet. Then she increases her height to 50 feet.
Sue practices her powers for about an hour. She kept ranging her height between 7 and 150 feet tall. But she felt she could get bigger, a lot bigger if she had enough space.
After she finished practicing she shrank down to a couple of inches above her normal height.
"This seems better."
She goes back to the lab where Reed was still researching the meteorite.
"Hey Reed I've done it I've taught myself to control these powers," said Sue.
"That's good to hear but I'm worried about this meteorite," replied Reed.
"Why what's happened?"
"Since that blast of energy affected you the meteorite has no energy signal anymore."
"So is that bad?"
"I'm not quite sure."
"If you don't mind I want to go out shopping to take my mind off what's just happened."
"Ok but when you come back I have to run some tests on you."
"Ok I'll see you later."
Sue goes outside the Baxter building. She was wondering how to get to the mall. With her old powers she would have just flew there using an invisible forcefield. But since they were gone she had to take another transport.
