You briefly consider an attempt to contact Becky, but you come to the conclusion that it wouldn´t be a good idea. Becky´s 10 years old, and since she´s still that young, God knows what she could do to you in case she finds you. You don´t think she would hurt you, since there´s really a close brother/sister relationship between you two, and indeed you love her as much as a brother possibly could. But perhaps she wouldn´t help you with your shrinking-problem immediately, maybe she would like to have some fun with her shrunken brother first. Of course, you don´t think she would do something mean, but certainly some annoying girl-like things, like using you as a doll (you don´t even want to think about such an embarrassing situation). You want to grow back to your normal size as quickly as possible, so you should get in contact with someone else, who´s older and less childish.
You quickly run to your bed, which is now of a scary size, and that makes you feel even tinier than you already are. The space under your bed is now big enough to provide with a good hiding spot. It´s dark there, even a bit frightening, but you´ll just stay there until Becky leaves your room.
"Huh? Johnny, where are you?" you hear your sister yelling with her powerful, yet cute voice. You stay near the entrance of your bed´s "underworld", because you really don´t want to go further in there.
"That´s strange...Johnny was supposed to be in his room...Well, what can ya do."
Before Becky decides to leave your room, she takes a look at Aaron´s machines on your desk, and she shakes her head, smiling.
"Aaron...that nerd. Why is Johnny his friend? He´ll get poor Johnny into lots of trouble someday, I´m sure."
While your sister´s still staring at Aaron´s machines, you have to smile. How right your sister is...Aaron really got you into lots of trouble. Your mind is quickly back on your current situation. You´ll have to get help from someone, and the best choices are your mother Hannah and your elder sister Amy. There´s no doubt your mother would help you immediately. Thanks to her, you were fortunate enough to enjoy a happy childhood. Amy´s a good choice as well. Although girls her age are sometimes quite ill-tempered, she´s quite different. She´s kind-hearted and intelligent, intelligent enough to use Aaron´s device. And you never really had problems with Amy, the relationship between her and you is similar to the the one between you and Becky. Besides, Amy indeed is a gorgeous girl, a natural beauty, unlike many other girls her age, but she doesn´t have a boyfriend yet.
Anyway, getting to either your mother or Amy will be a difficult task, but you have an idea. Becky´s still in your room, and she could be the key to your destination. If you jump on one of her shoes, she could transport you. So you leave your hiding spot beneath your bed and run toward Becky´s right shoe.
