“Is there anything to watch on TV right now?” Drew mumbled as he sat on the couch and grabbed the remote for the cable box, after he turned on the large flatscreen TV set. He pressed the Up-Down button on the remote control, flipping through the various channels, searching for something fun or interesting to watch.
“Aww… Nothing on at all? Nothing on Disney, Tubi, Netflix, or YouTube? Man, this sucks! I’m just gonna lie down on my bed, then!” Drew sighed, as he looked out the window.
The weather was getting bad. It was pouring rain, and it was bitterly cold outside. It was freezing overnight, since it was the middle of winter, and it was just way too cold to go out and do anything outdoors. It wasn’t cold enough for snow, but it wasn’t nice weather, either.
Drew was wearing his hoodie and his sweatpants because it was cold in the house. He entered his bedroom and closed the door behind him. He was bored out of his mind. Part of him wanted to go do something fun outside, but the weather wasn’t cooperating.
So, Drew just decided to lie flat on his back and close his eyes. It was quiet in his room, and there was nothing else to do. He was done with all his homework assignments, there was nothing else going on, and there was nothing to watch on TV. He almost contemplated scrolling on his cell phone, but he wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet a little longer.
As Drew started to drift between staying awake and almost falling asleep, he began to have a faint vision in his mind. The longer he kept his eyes closed, the cleared the vision became. He realized that it was as if he was looking through the eyes of some other person. Still, the room looked vaguely familiar. He was looking at a desk, a bed, a closet and the bedroom of someone he knew very well. He was following along as someone was folding laundry on his bed and putting away his clean clothes.
Then, the bedroom door opened. Wait! Drew knew this lady. It was Jared’s mom! She said something to him, and he heard Jared respond to her. It felt weird. It was as if Drew was spying on Jared! What was going on?
As Drew continued to watch the scene unfold before him, he realized that he was somehow watching everything that Jared was doing in real time. Every time Jared glanced around his bedroom; he looked over at the large, digital clock on the dresser next to the bed. It was the same time as the clock in Drew’s room! This was all in real time!
Finally, the scene changed and all he could see was Jared’s laptop screen before him. He saw Jared’s fingers typing on the keyboard. Occasionally, he would see Jared’s fingers touch the mouse. It felt strange. It felt as if Drew was watching everything through Jared’s eyes!
“Wow, this is so weird!” Drew said quietly. “I can everything he’s doing!”
Suddenly, the view changed. First, he looked to the left. Then, the gaze turned to the right. A hand reached out to the cell phone. Then, he looked at the laptop.
“Drew, is that you? Did I hear your voice?” Jared’s voice spoke.
Drew was able to hear Jared’s voice loud and clear. It was as if he was in the same room as him.
“Hey, Jared!” Drew spoke quietly. “I can see what you’re doing.”
The gaze shifted to the left. Then to the right. Then up to the ceiling. Then, back to the cell phone.
“Drew… What… How… Where are you?” Jared asked.
“I’m inside of you, bro!” Drew laughed. “I’m watching you through your eyes.”
“What?” Jared gasped.
Then Jared held his hand in front of him, only holding up three fingers.
“How many fingers am I holding up right now?”
“Three fingers!” Drew replied.
“Whoa! That is wild!” Jared exclaimed.
Jared then looked at his laptop screen.
“What… What web page do I have up on my screen?”
“Google!”
“Ohmygosh! You really can see everything!” Jared uttered. “How is that possible?”
“I dunno… I guess it’s a new thing that comes with my powers, bro. This way, I can see what you’re doing all the time!” Drew said to him.
“So, you can watch me, in addition to making me grow?”
“Yeah… I really liked how you were walking around with those big, thick quads earlier this afternoon, Jared. You look good when you have muscular legs. I think your quads need to grow back again!” Drew explained.
Jared looked down at his legs since he was just standing in his bedroom with the door closed. Jared was still wearing his shorts.
“My legs? What’s wrong with my l--?” Jared began when he suddenly saw his legs bulge, as Drew was watching him from a distance through his eyes.
As Jared looked down, he saw his legs grow thicker and wider! They bulged all over, as his quads magically packed on more muscle, returning to the same size they had earlier that day. Within just a few seconds, Jared saw that his big, beefy quads had returned, all thanks to Drew’s powers.
“HEY! You just blew up my quads again! And you’re not even HERE!” Jared gasped.
“Yes, I am. I’m inside of you!” Drew laughed. “I will always be watching you from now on!”
“Aww… I guess… I’ll never be alone!” Jared shrugged.
“That’s right. I can see what happens now when I make you grow from a distance!” Drew confirmed. “Let’s test this some more, shall we?”
“Uhh… what are we testing?”
“How about we grow your muscles some more. How about we grow…” Drew spoke as Jared heard his voice ringing between his ears.
