Drew looked up and shouted at his friend, who now had all his muscles turned to rubber and inflated with air, like big, helium balloons.
“JARED! I will let you land near a house or a farm when you see some kids or teens. I’ll follow you as you float through the air! Have a nice flight! I’ll teleport you back when it gets dark!” Drew shouted at Jared as the boy drifted higher and farther away.
“Oh, man…. This is so weird… I have no idea where I’m going!” Jared just sighed as he gained even more height as the wind picked up. He was only wearing a tank top and shorts, with his legs and arm muscles fully inflated with air. His balloon-arms and legs filled up even more, pulling him even higher through the sky, as a gust of wind pushed him further away from his house.
“Wow, I can see the school, the library, the city…” Jared sighed, as his body continued to float over the city. Finally, after about 10 minutes or so, it reached the outskirts of town, and Jared found himself on the opposite end of town, floating over some big houses which were built on farmland. Here and there he spotted some horses and some cows.
He cheered up when he finally spotted someone, walking along a wide-open field near a house. This looked like someone who lived on a farm. The person stopped walking and looked up, glancing at the strange object which resembled a human being, who was drifting through the air.
“Oh…. I see somebody down there, who seems to be looking at me!” Jared said. I wonder who that is?” Jared said to himself, just as he felt some air escape from his muscle-balloons in his arms and legs.
He started to get closer and closer to the ground. The air let out of his quads and calves, allowing his legs to drop down and point to the ground. Then, air slowly escaped from his chest and arms, gently lowering his body until Jared’s feet touched down on the grass.
“Wow! I made it! My first balloon flight!” he grinned. Where did he land?
