There was a large community pool located down the street from the homes where Drew and Jared lived, and this was a popular hang out place for the teens, especially during the warm summer months. Kids, teens, and parents would lay on the lounge chairs or they would sit on the regular chairs under the umbrellas overlooking the pool while others would swim in the nice, warm water of the pool, which was shallow on one side and deep enough to dive in on the other. It even had a diving board on the deep end!
People were just going about their business, with kids playing in the pool while they were enjoying their summer vacation, when suddenly, a tall, muscular young man appeared out of nowhere, standing near the edge of the deep end of the pool. The big boy looked no older than some of the other, shorter kids who were there. However, he had the body of a basketball player mixed with that of a young up-and-coming bodybuilder. It was Jared, who was teleported over to the community pool area by his friend Drew, using his newly acquired powers which had given him complete control over his best friend.
Jared was only wearing big, long swimming trunks, which still failed to cover his thick, wide, muscular legs. Jared also had the biggest calves anyone had ever seen in recent memory. As Jared walked to the concrete steps, people saw the wide shoulders and the big, thick arms, hanging from the massive shoulder blades and the large, round pectorals. In the center of the muscle mass you could see the ripped, well-defined abdominal muscles, which resembled bricks in a backyard wall. Jared looked like a big bodybuilder with the face of a teenage boy.
As he slowly stepped into the pool, several of the ladies who were laying on the lounge chairs raised up their sunglasses just to get a good look at the big hunk who was getting in the pool before their very eyes. They had never seen such a big, tall, handsome young man at the pool before, and yet, the face just seemed vaguely familiar. The body was that of a young man who came straight out of a Muscle and Fitness magazine for sure. Everybody was looking at Jared, even the guys, the men and the boys, who were swimming in the pool and found themselves looking up at the muscular giant who was swimming just a few feet away from them.
Drew had changed into his swimming trunks and he walked over to the pool, since he couldn’t actually teleport himself. Later, he would figure out that he could “ride” along with Jared if he held on to his hand or if he touched Jared’s body while teleporting his pal somewhere. In the meantime, he just walked over to the pool, where Jared was already in the water when he arrived.
“Wow, the water’s nice and warm, big guy!” Drew smiled as he got in the pool.
Jared just splashed around, swimming on his back, when Drew climbed on top of him and sat on his torso, treating his buddy like a big, living raft. Jared continued to just float around the edge of the pool, using his long, thick legs to propel himself forward. All the others in the pool looked on with envy.
Finally, after ten minutes, another tall kid came walking by. The kid was tall and chubby, but he wasn’t as muscular as Jared. But he was almost just as tall. The kid jumped off the diving board, making a huge splash in the water, causing waves to hit all the other swimmers in the pool. Then, the kid started to tease the smaller, younger kids who were all swimming in the pool. Obviously, everyone knew this kid, since he came often, and he lived almost right next door to where the pool was located. The kid, who’s name was Butch, pushed some of the smaller boys under water and he pulled on the hair of some of the girls. He annoyed just about everyone in the pool, even causing some of the kids to get out of the water altogether. Of course, Drew and Jared just stayed out of the boy’s way and ignored him for as long as they could.
Eventually, it became hard to ignore the bully when Butch started splashing water all over Drew every time, he swam near him. Drew almost swallowed a big gulp of water, thanks to Butch.
“Hey! Cut that out! Quit splashing water all over me!” Drew shouted at him.
“What’s the matter? You’re already wet!” Butch just laughed as he used his big hands to push Drew’s head underwater.
“HEY! Knock it off!” Jared yelled at him, giving Butch a hard shove.
Just then, Drew came back to the surface and realized that Butch and Jared started splashing each other. They were the same height, so Drew thought it was time to give Jared a bigger advantage.
While Jared was standing before the bully at the shallow end of the pool, Jared was suddenly overcome by that sharp, intense, tingling sensation. Then, he realized he was having a growth spurt! He looked over and saw Drew smiling at him.
“Look, dude… Quit teasing everybody in the pool!” Jared told the bully.
“Yeah? Who’s gonna stop me? You and what army?” Butch sneered.
Then, Jared’s legs suddenly stretched out by more than a foot in length, making him very, very tall! Jared suddenly towered over Butch by more than a foot! Butch could only gasp in amazement as he watched Jared rapidly grow right before his eyes, growing taller and taller, until he was almost 8 feet tall! Butch looked up and gulped when he realized that Jared was much taller than him. How did that happen?
“Okay, little guy… I’m gonna stop you!” Jared shouted, as he easily picked up Butch and launched him in the air, making the boy hit the water with a loud plunge. Then, when Butch came back to the surface, Jared used his big hand to push his head underwater every time he came to the surface. Finally, after the third time, Butch was screaming for Jared to stop.
“Okay! Stop it! STOP! Stop pushing me in the water!” Butch shouted.
He was so loud, that the lifeguard finally walked over to the edge of the pool and ordered both boys to come out of the water right away. When Butch came out, he realized how BIG Jared was! This scared him enough, that he just grabbed his towel and walked away, running home as quickly as possible.
“There! We got rid of him!” Jared grinned as Drew walked up to him. Of course, Jared was standing a whopping 8 feet tall by now. He was a muscle GIANT!
“Can my friend go back into the pool?” Drew asked the lifeguard. “Butch was picking on all the other kids. You can’t put the blame on Jared for that!”
“Yeah, the big guy may go back in the pool” the lifeguard responded.
Jared walked up to the diving board and dove straight in. He was clearly the biggest kid in the pool. All the other kids went back as well, now that Butch was gone. This time, the kids saw how Jared was big and friendly, and how Jared was giving rides to other kids on his shoulders. Kids were climbing on his shoulders and jumping off him, having a blast. The lifeguard just nodded and enjoyed the scene, if everyone was safe, and nobody was harassing anyone in the pool.
After about an hour or so, Drew and Jared got out of the pool. Drew decided to let Jared stay at his incredible height. Jared looked great at his amazing size. Drew still wanted to decide whether to increase Jared’s muscles or not. But that came later, after they dried off and returned to Drew’s house.
