For any one who suffers from chronic pain |
I hurt all over every time it rains. (Did I mention that it's raining today?) On a good day, though, I could probably manage to do one of the activities you mentioned and not put too much of a strain on myself. I could clean the house- scratch that- I could clean some portion of the house... or I could spend time with my friends... or I could go swimming... or I could mow the back yard... or I could mow the front yard. (It's a postage stamp yard.) Obviously, you say, I could combine at least two of those activities. I could spend time with friends and swim just like you did. Uh-uh. Just being around other people requires a lot of energy. If I'm around them and I do something, I always feel run down the next day. Did I mention that I'm only twenty-seven? Chronic pain has no respect for youth. It can hit at any age and it hits hard. A lot of different things can cause it, but usually it's linked to peripheral nerve damage and other neurological problems. There. That's my speech for the day. ** Image ID #854177 Unavailable ** ** Image ID #858361 Unavailable ** |
