A problem with sensory integration, I think. Migraines from bright lights, high-pitched noises, and certain colors. (I once went to a college event that involved strobe lighting and a fog machine. Ended up with a headache so bad I couldn't remember how to relax my muscles enough to pee. Heh.) I have a definite tendency to get sensory overload in places like malls. Oh, and muscle fatigue. I usually crash in the middle of the day because of that.
All of which is only marginally connected to the point of this post.
Do any of you know of any activities I could take up to improve my gross motor skills. My fine motor skills aren't bad, but I have trouble coordinating my movements when they involve upper and lower limbs together. (I have yet to figure out how people do things like jumping jacks for instance and games like basketball seem pretty impossible. I mean, I can usually shoot a basket if I'm standing completely still and nobody else is distracting me, but dribbling a ball, running down a court, dodging other people, and making a basket... Yeah, right.)
