"A Problem Page For All!"

Steve ALWAYS goes on about howmuch helovesmy sister, but it's so grandious and OTT that I find it hard to believe. Chloe's theone who doesn't talk about it. (but that's just how she is.)

He'snot really growing on me, but to his credit, he applied to join the Police force so he could be a better provider (though he's not heard anything yet) and he does help around the house and makes Chloe her endless, beloved cups of tea a lot...

But we were talking at Easter and he said, "My sister (lorraine) is the most important thing to me in the world and if anything happened to her, I'd kill the person responsible..." He said that right in front of me and Chloe. So I replied, "So, your pregnant girlfriend and unborn child aren't important then?" And he just went quiet. Chloe kinda smirked and said, "Nice to know where I stand."

It's the sensless things like that that piss me off about him. He just hasno priorities... Like he keeps saying he'll quit smoking, and still hasn't even though Chloe has bad asthma, and smoking is horredously dangerous around babies... No one else we know smokes;it's just him and he won't ever give up.Itmust cost him a fortune!

And he lies so much. He told our manager he's spent £2000 on the baby, when in reality he's spent £70. (At the time,only £50.) I just don't get why he lies. At least if the lies were consistent, people would believe him, but they're not, so no one knows what's truth or lie... And I'm leaning way over towards the school of thought that thinks everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie!
