OK, so maybe I do feel like posting. I feel the need to talk and connect with others. This money deal is funny. The guy running it is a religious guy who has tried all his life to invent things that will help people out, but because he sold them and they often didn't work, people are holding grudges against him. As a way to make it up to everyone, the guy is giving people 20 times the amount of money they put into his Swiss account. It so sounds like a scam. I only put $300 in, because I can make that much working at he Greenwood Pier Cafe when I'm home in 3 weeks and it wouldn't take that long to get it back. Nathan and his dad each put in $1500, though. Nathan's dad's friend put in his entire life savings, I think! The only reason I trust it is that Phil (Nathan's dad) is good friends with this guy. And he seems to honestly feel so ashamed that he let down the people to whom he sold his inventions, and doesn't want God to punish him or something. The amount could be 30 times what we put in. We're not sure yet. But $6000 sounds like a sweet peach to me, and if I get it, tallyho, I'm coming to your house I am!!! hanging in the doorway like smoke like mistletoe this is where i'll be whenever you come or go |
