I had grown my hair for about 4 years before I came over to England. It was about half way to three quarts down my back when Fea met me. Would you say that's about right fleur? Anyway, with the climate change and stuff, I had to cut it in the end. I put it off for as long as possible, but it was just... Okay, picture this, you are washing your hair. You look in the drain and it is clogged up fully with your hair. You look down your body and these big clumps of gross long dark hair are sticking to your body. You try to rinse your hair and all you come away with is handfuls of still more hair! It was terrible. And I got dandruff which I'm still trying to kick. In the end, I had to have Fea and Chlo cut it off for me. It went from down my back to around my ears and still that wasn't short enough for me so a couple of days later, Chlo cut a little bit more off. I regret it sometimes because I know how long it is going to take to grow even half that length back (my hair grows REALLY slowly!!) but everytime I wash my hair and still hair comes out, I remember how much worse it was then, in summer no less!! and figure that I really couldn't have done anything else and kept sane. I still get jealous though of everyone else's beautiful long hair. My hair goes just down over my shoulders now, threeish months after it was cut. nikki |
