Consciously having Will choose an average girl alone is a bold decision - going straight into the ugly or the outcasts far more so.

It's obvious why everyone wants Will to go for the hot girls - fetish fulfillment is the biggest one. By going against fetish fulfillment, story becomes more important. (It's the same argument for why Will doesn't turn into more guys, let alone someone even worse than he is.) I'd love to see how that develops.

I can't say Lindsay is one of my favorites but that's because I'm more interested in the people closer to Will, the popular people and those directly related to the supernatural. I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Morgana Hollis, though - she's the right kind of outcast rarely seen in stories, and she scratches that supernatural itch as well. (Though not as part of another route, unless that route's interesting - such as one of the big names aside from Sydney going deep into exploring more than just the book's magic.)

But then again, I'm more attracted into what can I do with the magic and what results from it.
