I've put off on answering this because I was taking the time to reread a lot of the story, but now that Seuzz is back, I was inspired to answer this now. I've always really liked the potential of the Keyserling University. Carson once compared it to the Miskatonic University in "Picking a Brain the Old-Fashioned Way" ![]() ![]() I'm also very intrigued by the reactions to both Jessica Garner and Maria Vasquez to learning about the magic of the Libra in "Invalid Chapter" ![]() ![]() I do wonder how "Mugged by Magic" ![]() Finally, I'm interested in a few of the mutants of Saint X. One of the things Rugal posted a few months ago about Sherri Watson admittedly intrigued me, because as Rugal had said, she's a fair bit younger than the majority of the characters of this story, and there's a couple different ways a she and Will could interact with each other that he wouldn't with somebody his own age, so I quite like the potential there. I'm also mildly curious about Mathilde Ambard, just because I want to know how her actual personality contrasts to what I imagine was JM's less than stellar impression of her in "French for Beginners" ![]() |
