Harry Potter and the Writers' Spell

Can I pose a follow up question here? since there are only 7 HP books and the last one was split into two to make the movies, does that mean that what we're meant to be covering in task 7, are only the contents covered in the 7th movie (i.e. the first half of book 7)? or are we free to go up to the contents of the final movie (i.e. second part of book 7)? Nagini is killed at the very end of book 7 (the eighth movie) so if we're including that, it means there'd be very little left to pick up on for the final task.

If I remember correctly, the first movie, "deathly hallows part 1" only covers up to chapter 24 of the deathly hallows book. By that point the snake is well and good and many of the horcruxes are yet to be destroyed.
