"A Trio of Goddesses"

Now Paris, he calms dear Aphrodite:
"Let us not argue who is the fairest".
Eris throws apple and things get ugly.
Now Paris , he calms dear Aphrodite.
The wedding party ends quite abruptly.
And Helen we wish not to embarrass.
Now Paris, he calms dear Aphrodite:
"Let us not argue who is the fairest".

Total lines: 8

Eris, the Goddess of Discord, is angry because she was not invited to the wedding of King Peleus and the sea nymph, Thetis, so she stands outside and throws a golden apple into the celebration. Stated on golden apple are the words: " To the Fairest"
3 Goddesses begin to argue: Hera, Athene and Aphrodite.

A triolet is an eight-line poem (or stanza) with a rhyme scheme of ABaAabAB: The first line is repeated in the fourth and seventh lines and the second line is also the last line (the capital letters indicate repeating lines).
