Right and I didn't like that at all either because it relies on adding an aspect to a character (K.C. secretly being a Fane recruiter or something like that) that in retrospect is really stupid and as far as I'm concerned is best left ignored and treated as non-canon.

I've said it before but K.C. is one of my favorite characters, probably my favorite one, that I can never find any use for. There's a couple characters like that that are, in my head and notes, fairly well realized but where I'd have to either think of ways to involve them or the set up is there and I can think of bits and pieces of a plot but not really the whole thing in a way that satisfies me. Naomi Batson's another character like that.
