A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
The formula on the "Exceeded 72 Date" (on the Log tab) was missing a +3. Here's a quick summary of how the Exceeded 72 calculation works: 1. On the Authors tab, it compares the timestamp of each entry (except the most recent) to the timestamp of the next entry. It reports back the Time Elapsed and associates the result with the first of the two entries being compared. 2. On the Authors tab, it compares the timestamp of the most recent entry to the current time/date. It reports back the Time Elapsed. 3. On the Log tab, the Date Exceeded 72 field searches through the author's Time Elapsed and looks for the first time 72 Hours was exceeded. If no Time Elapsed exceeded 72 hours, it reports back "N/A". However, at this point, we have the timestamp of the previous entry, and we have the actual amount of time elapsed between entries / since the last entry. But what we want to know is when the person exceeded 72 hours, which happened exactly 72 hours after the previous entry (the timestamp of the previous entry + 3 days.) That calculation should have been happening on the Log tab under Date Exceeded 72, and I missed it. GREAT CATCH!! The tech explanations are mostly for Storm Machine, Waltz Invictus, and Dragon is hiding, in addition to anyone else who's interested. Jedi Moose, possibly. Also, Waltz Invictus, sorry you were locked out! Fixing that, too. Dream ~ā ~ Justly, your calculation has been corrected, along with everyone else's, with my apologies for any confusion and my thanks for bringing it to our attention. Cheers, Michelle |
