I went to Kinko's and had a poster sized NaNo calendar printed out and mounted on a board. Then I popped over to Hobby Lobby and bought the most over the top glittery paw prints you've ever seen. They even have a little fake jewel in the middle. Every day I make my word count, I get a glitter paw. If I write, but don't make my word count, I only get a black paw.
And if I don't write, I get a whole lot of nothing.
My inner kindergartner is jumping with joy at the thought of glitter paws marching over the days.
