Sweet. So since this doesn't feel like it is as set in stone as I thought it was, then I just won't worry about it. It isn't that my story doesn't have conflict...it's just the conflicts aren't direct correlations of each other. One is the result of a past issue, one is the result of a current issue, one is the compilation of all the issues...and then there are the little subplots.
So that leaves me with the question of resolution. How important is it that all threads are tied up? Is it better to leave some open for interpretation and future books or is it necessary to make sure all threads have endings?
