Noticing Newbies

Hello, Everyone!

I'm a new member here and I thought I'd give an introduction and a little bio of myself.

I'm a writer, like all of you, and I love to read as much as I love to write. I've been writing since I was 10 years old when I started my first novel. I've since finished that novel, which turned into a trilogy that I completed in 2012. I recently graduated from college, so my writing so far has been squeezed into my college breaks, which forced me to write my entire trilogy in about 6 weeks collectively. My first three books were fantasy, but 've started to dabble in sci-fi since graduating and the last two books I've finished are both sci-fi and I'm currently working on another sci-fi novel.

As of currently, I am an unpublished writer, but I'm hoping to change that soon. I'm at the point where I really want my trilogy traditionally published, but I'm going to go ahead and self-publish the rest of my novels. I'm in the process of doing a lot of research on them both, but would love some direction or tips from other members about either type of publishing.

I decided to become a member here to join a community of other writers, both published and unpublished to have people to talk to that understand the troubles and joys of being a writer. I really look forward to meeting other members here and hopefully make some friends. :)
