I think you found a very good spot on the 'net to do exactly what you're hoping to do. I've learned a lot since joining in September and have made some friends as well. I think one of the best ways to learn is by reading other's works and writing reviews. Not only do people like to get feedback on the stuff they've posted, but by spending some time looking at what they've written and composing your own comments, I think you *gain* as a writer as well.

This site can be confusing at first, but I promise after you hang around for a while it starts to make sense Everyone is friendly and helpful, so don't hesitate to ask questions!
