Hi again,

Basically the idea is to rely upon convergent evolution. In case it is unfamiliar (apologies if it is not) it states that given similar environments, evolution will find similar solution to survive and thrive. It is why you see wings on bats, birds and squirrels (sort of), or two eyes on every higher creature to perceive depth, or intelligence in humans and dolphins. All of these creatures have evolved entirely separately but still evolve the same solutions and characteristics to deal with their similar environments.

If an extra-terrestrial planet has earth like conditions then surely the same rules would apply?

So my races will effectively be humanoid. I have a few cosmetic changes such as cartilaginous limbs, but could use interesting suggestions...
