Thanks Scott Lawless! I've seen the copyright at the bottom of the portfolios I've read, but, to be totally honest, wasn't sure how valid it was. I've read about publishers being antsy regarding work that had been up for public view and hoped somehow the portfolio option would be a sort of work around to that little problem. I have people here at home willing to read my work and offer feedback, but the more the merrier on that topic!
I feel silly worrying about publishing when becoming a published author is nothing more than a pipe dream at this point.
Do you think that keeping my chapters private would keep potential publishers from being upset about them being online? How, then, do I get the reviews and feedback I crave?
