Welcome! Don't get discouraged with your writing. Someone told me that the first draft of a piece is simply ideas; you're basically putting everything down on paper. It doesn't have to flow or match up (that's what the edits are for). When I started Prophecy Revealed, I wrote a few chapters and then stopped. It sat for nearly a month before I "climbed back on the horse". It is now complete at 92,000 words! I also find myself getting lost within the site, but I've found that others here are willing and excited to guide us "newbies". Good luck! Maybe post some of your manuscript for others to review; they might kick start you back on the writing train.
