Noticing Newbies

Welcome to WDC, Joanna! Congratulations on completing your manuscript! That is a big accomplishment in and of itself... very nice! I've never gotten further than 10k before giving up. I'm always impressed when people finish long pieces!

To post your work, click the Things to Do & Read link on the menu at the left of your screen. The top link is "Create Something"... choose that. The most basic item on WDC is a Static Item... so choose Static Item from the list and fill out the information. Title, description, privacy stuff, etc. It's fairly easy once you get into it.

After you've posted your item, you can advertise it in different places. Here are a couple good places to start:

"Please Review" 
"The Shameless "Plug" Page" 

Your item will have a number at the top, just under the title and your name. That is the Item ID number... you will need that to add your work to either the Review Requests or Shameless Plug pages. If you need any help or have anymore questions, feel free to ask!
