Happy Birthday from New Horizons Academy

Oh, WDC how beautiful you are. I am so glad I found you. I came to you in January of 2009 and stuck around for a month or two. I posted a few poems and forgot about it. I forgot about writing in general. Then a year or so later, I started writing again in journals. Then on Christmas of 2010 I received an IPAD. I began writing on that. The creativity poured. I remembered your website (thank God). I came back to Writing.com and deleted my old poems and transfered some of my new poems to the site. Soon I was blessed with an upgraded membership. I began transferring many writings to the site, new and old. I began to realize that this is more than just a writing website, it is a community. I began entering contests and activities. Now, I have my own contest. I don't know what I would do without WDC. This is a great place to let your creativity flow. So, Happy Birthday WDC, another year and many more to come.
