Okay, how can you apply the behaviors you are familiar with to your character? Basically what you described in yourself is avoidance. How would this translate to your character who has to be in the same house as the person she's trying to avoid?
Could she leave the room whenever the housekeeper enters? Only give short answers to questions she would have spent minutes answering before? Can she try to stay out of the house whenever the housekeeper is there or awake?
