Dear Friends, please spare 5 mins to read through my thoughts...! MUST READ for INDIANS
[Introduction]

INDIA... a word which fills our heart with immense pride, a Nation which carries the dreams of a billion people, a nation which was once referred to as "Sone ki chidiya", looking back I feel immensely proud to say that the richness of India in terms of Culture, Knowledge, Resources, was unchallenged.

But during this Golden Period of Indian History, foreign invaders mostly the Europeans started creeping into the Indian landscape, the Portuguese, the French and the British as Traders who came for business.

They gradually studied the life of Indians and were quick to identify the weaknesses. Our civilisation is inclusive and comprehensive. From time immemorial it has absorbed and assimilated countless thought pro- cesses, religious sects, philosophical nuances, races, castes and languages. This process of absorption continued till the advent of Muslims and Christians. Unfortunately the Muslims and the Christians did not assimilate in our cultural life. This was our cultural defeat. The formation of Pakistan was not only our political defeat but more seriously also a major cultural re- verse. Thus the British realized the quality of religious tolerance Indians had. They took advantage by spreading Christianity far and wide by starting churches and various educational and Health related institutions. Thus leading to mass conversion of Hindus and Muslims who existed in India.

They also initiated sparks between Hindu and Muslim princely states thus leading to breakout of communal violence.

It was then that great visionaries, people who were ready to sacrifice anything for freedom. Who fought fearlessly for the freedom of our Nation emerged into the arena.

It was late by the time Indians realized that the Britishers who for business have actually made a firm grip over India and its people. These valiant heroes planned a mass attack on the British which would have driven them out of India, but it was not to be. Someone from within cheated the Indian Camp and the Great Fight for freedom led by the Rani of Jhansi and other valiant heroes, and thus the struggle was underrated by calling it as a mere Sepoy Mutiny.

If it would have been successful History might have taken a different course, the INDIA we know today would have been much more advanced and well equipped in all fields.

But it triggered a bigger catastrophe, the memoirs of the First Struggle led to the up rise of a new generation of Freedom Fighters, who ultimately succeeded in gaining FREEDOM in 1947.

Every time a common Indian thinks of Freedom Struggle, or Independence the few names that flashes through our mind are Mahatma Gandhiji, Jawaharlal Nehruji and a few others such as Dr.Ambedkar, Sardar Patel, etc. But, are they the real heroes ??? the answer is no, In the present educational system and present political scenario lures us to believe that it was the so called ‘moderate’ freedom fighters under gandhiji’s principle of non-violence who won us Independece.

Its mere foolishness to think so. If the struggle was based only on Gandhiji’s methods then we would be still living in a British India.

The magnitude of effort put in by the other group of Freedom fighters the extremists or moderates are not much noticed. We will know a few names, like, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad.

But fairly speaking how many would know people like Bismil, Bagha Jatin, Bhupendranath Datta and Raja Subodh Mallik.? Yes, they are people who fearlessly led the Indians against a much stronger British Imperial force. The are the very leaders who faced torcher in jails both in India and Rangoon. They suffered crudest form of torcher from british yet their love and respect for mother India kept them live moreover kept their desire to succeed in their mission alive.

The following are few famous verses written by Bismil, these words kept their spirits high during ruthless torcher in jails.

“ hai liye hathiyaar dushman taak mein baitha udhar

aur hum taiyyaar hain seena liye apna idhar

hum to ghar se nikle hi the baandhkar sar pe qafan

chaahatein liin bhar liye lo bhar chale hain ye qadam

zindagi to apni mehmaan maut ki mehfil mein hai

sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai

dil mein tuufaanon ki toli aur nason mein inquilaab

hosh dushman ke udaa denge humein roko na aa

duur reh paaye jo humse dam kahaan manzil mein hai

sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai “

These inspiring words portray a fraction of the zeal possesd by those heroes.

At this juncture, the picture of Indian Political Arena looks horrible. What i wish to convey is, every single corrupt poiltician in India, whter an MLA, MP, Minister, or even if its the PM, and even the entire Government services and ultimately every single Indian who breathes in a free India, must realize that what India is now and whtever it has acheived over last 60 years is due to humungous efforts by these heroes. Every second of our life as an Indian we must posses that zeal to serve the nation when required just as they did.

I wish the present day SPINELESS politicians give way to new leaders , young , fresh and vibrant leaders who know the spirit of Nationalism, the spirit of Indianness.

Every one of us, voters must decide firmly that we are gonna vote only for people with vision for the Nation, not for the cheap third rate politicians who are presently ruling our nation.

Dont wait for others to do things, its ur country, my country its our country, we must grab the power and lead it from strength to strength.

I wish to conclude by saying “Ye shola bujhne na de”.... yes this fire must not be extinguished, we must keep the fire burning within us, the fire to succeed. As our ex-president Dr.Kalam wished , we the youth of India who are the soul of India must give wings to our dreams, then no force in the world can stop us from being the strongest country in the World in all respects. So “ye shola bujhne na de.”...........!!!

!!!..JAI HIND..!!!
