In Spite Of

I thought I would never find that special someone who could make me laugh when I didn't feel like laughing.
And then God sent you.

We had to go through our moments of disbelief, sometimes we were able to overcome them and move on. Then there were other times when we were too stubborn to back down no one wanted to be the first to admit to being wrong. Thereby causing us to reach a stalemate. All the hurt and pain from misunderstandings,

I still have joy in my heart. In spite of all my trials and tribulations, the lord still allowed me through his grace and mercy, a place in my heart for joy. There were many times when I found myself questioning the real meaning of joy. I thought I would never be able to have laughter and peace again. I thought I would never find a friend, who could bring laughter to my heart. And then you came along.

When your heart is in the right place and you know who holds your today and tomorrow you will always come out a winner.
