Roses

Life is like a rose, beautiful but dangerous
Some are like red roses, beautiful, but full of pain
Some are like blue roses, different but pretty
Some are like yellow roses, sweet and lovely
Some are like white roses, pure, but rare
Some are like glass roses, beautiful, but fragile
Some are like black roses, dark and pained
Some are like poison roses, enticing, but deadly
All are beautiful, all have their thorns, yet they all share the same fate, to wither and die on their vine and let a new rose bloom. All but one
I am a metal rose, alone and painful, but I do not wither, only rust, as I watch all others wither and die, only to be replaced
