A tourist is drugged and left to die in the basement of a decrepit hotel in Spain.
[Introduction]
(( I'll allow others some room to breathe, and for them to present some creativity to things but make an attempt to not stray from the main plot or alter the situation too drastically ))

An American tourist *David* visiting family in a small, Spanish town finds himself lost in a gritty, addict inhabited slum. Upon his accidental stumblings into a decrepit hotel he comes to face a den of addicts and madmen who viciously mug him, jam several dirty needles into his body, and leave him to die in a filthy basement beneath the hotel.

The Basement

David woke with a sickening grogginess, his eyes rolled about and his vision was blurred and un-focused. He made an attempt to lift his arm but this only resulted in an immediate surge of pain that shot up through his body followed by a violent surge of vommit. David's thoughts where scattered and he felt too weak to help himself out of his grim situation. Consciousness faded in and out and the realization that a number of stained, near empty needles jutted crude and rough in his left and right arm. David over-exerted his frail state in an attempt to remove them but before blacking out he noticed he wasn't alone. The tunnel vision he was enduring kept him from being a good judge of distance but it seemed not more then ten feet of his location a figure with a swollen belly squirmed un-easily and he could hear deep shallow breaths being taken. David then blacked out for the sixth time in the last four hours, not knowing that this would be his final blackout before his body began to stabilize itself...
When David came too again several hours later he felt as he did before but the worse had passed and the previously smothering weight had become a light, painful buzzing. His first thoughts had been a recall of the woman that had been prone near him before his last blackout. His thoughts then averted as he made his best attempts to gingerly remove the wicked needles that had been jammed rudely throughought his body. He made an honest effort to stand but soon fell back onto his rear. Trying again he stood with his back resting against a damp, uneven brick wall. His eyes peered into the darkness that clouded about him and he noticed a humped figure where he'd last seen the woman. He first called out, his voice horridly drained and raspy. he got no response and crept slowly towards the black mass. Once he got close he found that his clairvoyance had been correct, a young girl that would have been seen as attractive under different circumstances lay in a heap shivering lightly. She wasn't clothed and the full belly he'd seen had been bearing a child but what had slipped out of her swollen womb looked more like the remains of a small animal day's into decomposition. It's frame had been so frail he began to tear looking at it, he guessed the birth had been pre-mature by several weeks. In this hell it seemed likely that their was a wider host of explanations and possibilities but David didn't care to venture thought into any of them, his mentally state was weakened and caving in.
