This is the story of Aulen Gale, a shepherd boy who is set out on his own for the first time in his life. His adventures make for a coming of age story set in a fantasy world with a twist. The people here are simple and true to a midwest and western lifestyle. I've given the story an American twist rather than the more popular medieval fare. Hope you enjoy it.
