It was not his end only his death... The Dark Society.
It was not his end only his death...  He was made into one of them.    A member of the Dark Society.    Alive and dead without a soul but not without purpose.  His passage into their arms was simple.    He just had to die.

  Set against the backdrop of that not so small town no one seems to know.    Zerx is raised into the visions of a man's life quest.  To conquer death and it confines.    A vision spoiled by a hidden by product and symptom.    Given his ever desire both known and unknown he is enveloped in the sins of mortals with no regard for their final fate and judgement.    Yet, nothing can last forever and soon the Dark Society is torn a sunder and the secret of their existence is threatened to be exposed.   
  Zerx's mind is torn between two women one opposite sides of and underground war that threatens not only his undead existence but the fate of mankind in a possible new age unlike any other in human history.  An age without death.
  The moral question left to him becomes greater as he begins to realize his gift and the potential he contains.    Without a moral compass in the midst of conflicts born from amnesia ridden masses of undead Zerx must rise as a leader and be prepared to pay the ultimate price again.    For his love and his lust and fate of all those cursed to live again.
   
    I am a writer from Cedar Rapids, IA with a passion for poetry but I choose to final write this book.    I had the idea about two years ago but I have never had the time or the passion to make it into a reality.  Readers beware there will be a lot of revisions to this text over the next 6 months.
