Well I LOVE football and I recognize enthusiasm when I see it! Well done, Kyle! This is going to be a fun year for all of you. And by the end of it, maybe you and your hubby can sit and watch some games together on t.v. and get just as excited. Haha.
Televised sports and live sporting events are worlds apart in my opinion, and when your kid is one of the players, that is something else entirely, so I don't think you are a hypocrite at all. Just a rightfully proud mother.
I wasn't a football mom but I washed a lot of muddy practice clothes for my little ex-brother-in-law. (Our colors were red and white, too) I never really understood the game, though, and probably never will. And I'm not really a morning person, either.
The colors should be red and white, But can see my delima....I decided to use the color of the red- fairmont teams jerseys, and the blue numbers on our jerseys.
The darn expense of ANY extracurricular high school activity! I certainly don't remember it being so expensive when I was in school. Oh yeah...that's because my parents paid for it. Haha.
Once you get in the groove of being a football mom, you'll be sad it's his senior year. The games are fun, but I admit they can also be worrisome for a parent. Safety concerns, of course, but also wanting them to do well....not for your own reasons, but for there's. Okay, never mind.....there's too much to worry about. Haha.
LOL at Party. My dog was an unexpected addition, and I really didn't want a dog, but I can't imagine life with out him. And he's the smartest dog ever too except that I can't get him to carry his fetch toy outside to play. He drops it in the doorway and runs ahead wanting me to throw it which doesn't work well if I have my hands full.
