1 Faith Defined Fear overcome by prayers reveal by the Blessed Beauty, Ability enhanced through the focus of the Individual on the writing of the Glory of God. Teaching the Cause of God to humanity, Happiness is obedience to the Lord of Host. 2 Certitude's Prayer I rest secure in Thy Covenant, O Lord, safe from idle fancy's darts and vain imaginings illusions. 3 Faith I ascend without wings, climbing away from the crippling bonds of earth to float upon cold hydrogen. I inhale deeply of the void knowing subatomic particles merge to form oxygen atoms to fill my lungs. I walk through the darkness of interstellar space watching stars coalesce, planets aggregate, and life emerge. I listen to the echoes of creation, the music of the stars, songs of the planets, and the voices of civilizations. 4 Threshold of Faith If God shuts one door, He opens another. Irish Proverb Did God shut a door? Did He say no to your material desires, Quenching your hope's fires; He has opened another door! He is the door to eternity, Whose Manifestation is the handle or reality. 5 Affirmative Today I will demonstrate the three aspects of faith. Today I will manifest implicit obedience. Today I will exhibit whole-hearted allegiance. Today I will show forth uncompromising adherence. Today I will demonstrate faith's aspect for Baha'u'llah. 6 Ivory Candles Nine ivory candles On humanity's mental Glow with the flame of God's love. 7 Faith Faith is a multicolored flower, Whose fragrances wafts beyond the bower, An exquisite blossom for all to see, Who look beyond life's obscurities. Faith is an ancient wine, Aged in the vats of time, And a newly created star, Its atoms beginning to catch fire. Faith is a secret hidden, Within the hearts of men, And a proclamation, Spread throughout the nation. With the dawn of each new day, Those seeking faith shall find their way, What was hidden in the night, Will be made clear in the light. 8 Morning Prayers In the cold darkness, I call His name. Out of the east, He comes bringing the sun. 9 Faith, Hope, and Sorrow Faith sees beyond the veil that hides from mortal eyes the gate to paradise. Hope sees opportunities in each day's difficulties. Sorrow sees only the missing puzzle pieces and tries to drawn her grief. 10 Morning Mist Prayers rise from the lips of the faithful, to greet the Beloved. 11 Cone of Silence I read Thy words in silent meditation, Around me forms Thy cone of silent peace, Outside the world is screaming chaos, Inside I float upon Thy calm smooth sea. 12 Ruth Knew Ruth knew blood ties aren't strong knew the slightest tug can loosen them.
