Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs"Prompt: What is the strangest, most unique, most interesting, or weirdest pet you or one of your friend have ever had?"

The weirdest pet I ever had was a pet lizard. I can't begin to tell you the name of the lizard because it was a lizard common to the hottest parts of the Sahara Desert. My son called him "Little Guy" though he was actually over 2 feet long. I had bought him at a reptile store for $80.00. He only ate once per month and I fed him a bag of crickets. He never took water and was kept under an intense heat lamp. I had him about two years and he died.

Blog City image small "Prompt: Why do you think nightmares happen, and what is your scariest nightmare that you can remember? "

Nightmares are the minds way of dealing with horrors if knows little about. As a child I lived down over the hill from a hole in the ground, probably an old lava tube. We called it Devils Hole. It scared me and I had nightmares of being taken to Hell though Devils Hole. My mom finally convinced me I was safe.
