The poet's words find voice, at last, as future overcomes the past. The poet's words. The poet's words, no longer in the darkness cast. The world rejoices! Spring's arrived; a gentle rain begins to feed the earth so long deprived; to wash away my sins. Its rhythmic beat imbues my words; they soar among the clouds and birds. Its rhythmic beat. An entry for the May 31st FINAL round of "The Daily Poem " Prompt: Write a cheerful poem. Form: Trijan Refrain Line Count: 27 |
