the tiny crimes you got away with
and murderous ones with undertones
as you placed my hopes on the pyre, but
my justice wields a sword sharp and thin
first, it’ll give you a paper cut
then, it will penetrate within

see my eyes? how eternal and defiant?
they place curses upon you, don’t chuckle,
for now, your zippers will snarl,
your clasps will not unbuckle,
but then, you’ll fall and won’t be able
to shrug off your straitjacket at all

and I make no apologies
for my logistics or expertise
for these will be a breeze for me,
but for you, a typhoon, a calamity
blinding, sizzling, frightful
and binding you in their intensity.
