What is a friend?

I can spout some falderal about what is a friend bur you have all heard it before. Most of us want a good friend but aren't willing to be one.  Then there are those who are always giving to their friends and they are never on the receiving end.  So here is the best advice or vitamin to take. Charlie ~   mentioned in his blog that his grandmother told him, "A friend really wants to see you succeed, even when they don't." I think that sums it up pretty good. It goes to the core of what a deep friendship consists of.
