Mom came home crying today
Kamál (Perfection), 8 Kamál (Perfection), 167 BE – Monday, August 8, 2011 about sunset Pacific Time
Mom came home crying today because she wanted to see her parents. My grandparents are buried in the cemetery in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Mom does not remember going to the funeral or putting flowers on their graves. She thinks they are still alive.
Today, I told Mom that Grandma and Grandpa had called from Israel. It was the first thought that popped into my mind. Grandma always wanted to go to Israel when she was alive, so I told Mom that Grandpa had taken Grandma to visit the Holy Land. I kissed Mom twice on the forehead and said the kisses were from her parents. It calmed Mom down and she stopped crying. I do not know what I will tell Mom when the subject comes up again.
