Speaking of Government
I found this funny Facebook page spoof. Probably even funny if you're not on Failbook. Which I haven't logged into for weeks now. Probably not funny if you don't follow politics much.

I can't excerpt it. You just have to read it.

Switching from politics to religion, here's a story about a Buddhist rebel. Or heretic. Or whatever.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/may/31/dalai-lama-osel-hita-torres

As a toddler, he was put on a throne and worshipped by monks who treated him like a god. But the boy chosen by the Dalai Lama as a reincarnation of a spiritual leader has caused consternation – and some embarrassment – for Tibetan Buddhists by turning his back on the order that had such high hopes for him.

Instead of leading a monastic life, Osel Hita Torres now sports baggy trousers and long hair, and is more likely to quote Jimi Hendrix than Buddha.

Okay, I understand rebellion, and I understand refusing to be what other people want to make you, but good grief...

Jimi Hendrix?

If you can't switch your religion to The Church of Bruce, at least pick someone else who had original thoughts, like Dylan or Seeger. Sheesh.

Okay, so that covers politics and religion. How about sex?

Um. Okay...
