Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills. |
I've decided to start rotating blogs, so if you can't leave a comment here, it is because one of my other blogs is the official "Blog of the Moment". There can only be one at a time and only the official one allows comments. A quirk ... but, hey, that's life in Blogville. So if you must comment but can't: 1. wait until you can! or 2. send an email, please. I have made my first entries in two other blogs: "Watt's Gnus" [18+] by Kåre Enga in Montana "Nurture your Nature" [13+] by Kåre Enga in Montana ME: Slight headache and still paralyzed about doing anything. Did write 4 poems though! I hope that makes Thomas happy. Speaking of which ... Thomas and susanL have news ... good news. Go visit their blogs! POEM: Y'all know how much I do not like the color pink ... but it seems appropriate: D cups dangling from the clothesline He washes her best brazier by hand, squeezing soap between his fingers, he figures this is what she'd want, hangs her D cups pin by pin. Ecru lace embraces breezes, waves between blue shirts and blouses, parentheses that bracket cloud and sunshine, D cups dangling from the clotheslines. The pets are fed, the children too; the house swept clean from stem to stern, he makes the bed; there's shopping to do as D cups dry beneath the moon. She'll come tomorrow from the hospice, one breast less, her wig askew; the house is ready, nothing to do, but take down D cups from the clothesline. © 2008 Kåre Enga [165.115] 2008-06-16 I did not expect to write a Pink Ribbon poem today. My Muse is having the last guffaw! A bouquet for anyone who has ever had this experience in any way, shape or form. ** Image ID #1295354 Unavailable ** ** Image ID #1295354 Unavailable ** ** Image ID #1295354 Unavailable ** ** Image ID #1295354 Unavailable ** ** Image ID #1295354 Unavailable ** ** Image ID #1295354 Unavailable ** ** Image ID #1295354 Unavailable ** 5792 |
