Again, there are so many newbies I would love to highlight in the letter, but I always run out of room!

I hope everyone takes a few minutes each time they log in to read a newbie. Next time choose one that has no ratings yet. Be the first to welcome them to Writing.Com.

Remember to read your neighbor’s work too!

As someone who has only recently joined writing.com, how do I get exposure as a "newbie".
I am considering joining the site so that I may also post my novel and a few short stories I have recently been workking on but, I would like to understand the inner workings a little more before committing. Thanks, John Gamber aka poetman.

Click the links, John. Visit the forums. Add and plug your bitem everywhere you can.

Hi Esprit,
I really like your topic in this issue! It helps me, as a writer, just as much to get a reader's impressions on my work as it does to receive feedback on the technical aspects.

Thanks, Nikola. Me too!

I thought Esprit's article about reviewing was wonderful! I wish I'd been given similar advice when I began reviewing! Continuing along the same theme, I think new writers and reviewers to the site could benefit from this forum--there are several "experts" that frequent the forum who could help answer questions or provide discussions in which the newbies might be interested (and we'd love to have them!).

I agree, Wee. I'll do what I can to get them there!
