2004 has arrived. A new year! Most of us will have made plans; goals to reach. I know that my parents are trying to quit smoking. It would be great if they could reach their goal, and actually manage to quit. Not to mention that it would improve their health...

I also have set some goals for 2004. No... I am not going to quit smoking... I never smoked, so that saves me a lot of troubles. My goals are more in the writing area.

Being a bilingual writer brings problems of it's own. And there is one point I definitely want to improve: my punctuation. Especially in English; it seems that I am placing comma's where they aren't necessary, or forget to place comma's where they are needed.

It is important to read your work over, to catch these punctuation problems; it might be better to let a friend check them. Or an aquaintance who knows how to edit. Follow their tips, and make corrections. You'll see your work improve - and get better!

Another goal I have set is in the field of poetry. People who have found my port, know that I have a poetry folder with explanations how to write different forms of poetry. I have reached 50 entries there... and tried all these forms. I hope to add at least 20 new forms to it this year, and teach them to others through "The Writer's Cramp"  Open in new Window. by Sophurky Author Icon 's Poetry week, and through the advanced poetry workshop."Invalid Item"  Open in new Window. by A Guest Visitor If you are interested in learning new forms, pop in for a visit any time you like. You are able to learn in a friendly environment; it opens more ways to express your feelings.

Wishing you all the best for 2004! Now I am pointing you to the selection of works that I found, by new members...
