Letter from the editor

Hello Everyone! I hope this October day finds each of you doing well!

In my last letter, I mentioned that I had found a great community here at Writing.Com. What makes a great community? (It’s a rhetorical question, but you are more than welcome to answer it if you wish)! People make a great community!

Writing.Com brings people of similar interest together, whether it be reading or writing. Where would the writer’s be with no one to read their masterpieces? What would the readers read with no one to write for them?

Not only do we share common interest here at Writing.Com, we need each other! With those two valuable links, a close-knit community is formed. We share our stories, our emotions, and our experiences.

I was reading vjbeau Author IconMail Icon’s experience "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window., and had to agree. Life can certainly be stranger than fiction! Sometimes life is just plain scary. I thought that would be appropriate for the month of October. So while everyone else is giving attention to spooky, fictional stories, I’d like to spotlight some of the creepy, spooky and just plain frightening non-fiction that our Newbies have been brave enough to share (peppered with some sunshine as well)!
