Vampires Night Out
Once upon a time there were a group of teenage vampires who always stuck together and hunted together. They were careful not to spread the disease to others. Their names were Alicia, Tiffany, Rick, Bobby, Sue, and Mat. They did face a major threat from a gang of werewolves, who continually threatened the population of the towns they visited. Unlike the other vampires and werewolves they met, this gang was strong and powerful. Infiltrating defenses. They knew one thing: silver bullets would stop the gang in their tracks. What they needed was a group of werewolf hunters. To do this, this is where the story begins.

"Do you think this is really going to work this time? We need werewolf hunters without running into any vampire slayers. We are on the good side." Sue held up the wanted poster to the post in the middle of the city. This time they had taken refuge in an apartment in a city to hide from the gang. Which meant harder time to cure their hunger for blood.

"I believe so. The city is filled with people. Us vampires have to take cover and teach other vampires and werewolves to live off of chocolate and each other. Chocolate is a lot of money in the long run. It's not like the old days where we were able to hunt wildlife freely in the wilderness. I don't know how much longer we can hold this off together though. Chocolate only gives so much relief." Mat taped the wanted poster onto the post. It was perfect in his sight.

"We need to find a deer out in the wilderness. Tonight. No excuses. Well, there is the bounty hunter we want to meet, so that would be an excuse. I give up."

"Yes. Well, here is a chocolate bar I stashed in my pocket. Eat it."

"No thanks. I have one stashed in my pocket too. Well, we better get out of here before we are discovered. Seriously, I feel like there is vampire hunters around watching us as well."

"Our bounty better be good enough to lure the best werewolf hunter in town. The full moon is in ten days and that town is in trouble. We want to save that town before it's too late."

Five days later a knock came at the door. A group of men stood at the other side of the door. They were armed with guns that held silver bullets! Alicia, Tiffany, Rick, Bobby, Sue, and Mat welcomed them into the apartment with open arms and learned they were the best werewolf hunters of the country, pursuing a gang of werewolves too with no results. They had enough guns for the teenage vampires to join the hunt as well. There were vampire slayers with them which made them nervous.

"Please, we are on your side and we have leads as to where the gang of werewolves will strike next. It is the town of Tuskany and we won't attack you," Tiffany said.

"We can give you immunity to our weapons so that we won't harm you nor other vampire slayers. We don't kill vegan vampires. I wonder how long that diet on chocolate is going to last. Raw meat might cut it more. It ain't much but it will satisfy you better with real blood," Wilson, a vampire slayer, said.

"Well, you are an exception to the rules. We'll train you on how to use these silver bullet guns and we'll head to Tuskany in no time at all. It will take one day for you to all be trained. And we'll share the bounty we collect with you as well. No need to hog the bounty just for ourselves when you're involved," Mike, a werewolf hunter leader, said. "There's a training post not far from here. Shall we?"

"Yes, let's do it. We learn quickly," Rick said, turning into a bat.

"Brilliant, you all can turn into bats. That will be easier. Three cars with drivers who know where to go. We know safe driving. We need more people to face this gang. Silver bullets should protect you. Unless they have immunity and the bullets work like normal bullets. I doubt that though," Wilson smiled.

The rest turned into bats and followed them out to their cars. The cars were huge with lots of space. As they choose the middle car sonic sounds reached their ears. Something was watching them, probably another vampire. They rode out to the training grounds in silence, glad they could befriend the entire group. Training was going to be a piece of cake with their superpowers. But they still couldn't shake off those sonic sounds. As they reached the training grounds they noticed people going in and out. There they were handed the silver bullet guns themselves, equipped with unlimited bullets. In and out they breathed. Surely the training will be quick and easy. The leader entered codes into the guns and they discovered they had to activate them with their thumbs. Trading with each other worked as well as the leader encouraged to test out the other guns. Then came the shooting time. They lined up to having targets nearby. Those targets changed to look like werewolves.

"Alright one at a time. Remember what I told you about handling the gun and pressing the target button and you'll do okay. Alicia, you are up first," Wilson announced.

Alicia focused on the still target and raised the gun to eye level. Now, she just needed to focus on the werewolf's heart. As soon as the target lights hit a blinking green she fired. She had hit the heart directly. The werewolf instantly changed into its normal target shape with a hole in the bullseye circle. She had passed the first test with ease, having had experience with guns before. The others didn't fare so well, but hit the target anyway.

"Now, all of you had hit the target, but Alicia's was perfect. I want you all to practice a few more times with still target before we switch to a moving target. It seems you have experience with guns Alicia. These are automatic weapons. Meaning if you hold down the trigger button, it will rapidly shoot out bullets without stopping. I want you to practice both ways. Be sure to aim at werewolves only," Wilson said, pleased with the results.

"I told you we will learn quickly. Sure thing. These targets are magical," Sue said, struggling the most.

"Keep up the good work. Now, get to practicing."

They practiced for a couple hours nonstop, excited to hit the hearts each time. Sue was the slowest at aiming for the heart each time, but soon caught on with the others. It wasn't long before lunch break appeared and they stopped shooting. Their next goal was a mix of moving and still targets. Each of them was going to be timed. There was going to be a total of 30 targets to hit. If each of them completes 30/30 targets then they will head on to the next part of the training ground. Mobility and stealth. There were high expectations since they had superpowers. Challenge was that their powers couldn't be used in a highly public area. During the fight they could use it, but not during training.

"You brought raw meat with lots of blood on it," Mat said as he looked at the choices. The vampires picked on the raw meat eagerly. Vegan style still, animal meat, not human meat.

"Yes. We're glad you were honest about being vampires. This fight ain't going to be an easy fight. I can tell you that right now. We're eating in the car so to avoid the attention of vampire slayers. Some are eating outside. That way everyone can eat. You can't live off of chocolate forever. We'll help you out with the cost of getting raw meat with lots of blood in it. You all look parched," Wilson said.

"Thank you very much for your generosity. We don't know what we would do if you hadn't shown up to answer the call to take down the gang of werewolves. Those werewolves have terrorized entire towns and will soon be confident and powerful enough to take on cities too. There are so many of them," Sue said.

"According to my sources, there are 500 of them. Most of them are under the influence of the Alphas. The Alphas is the reason they are so dangerous. And there's vampires along with them too. Also weak to silver. Reason why we gave you a silver resistant drink so that you won't be weak to silver. These are real silver bullets we're talking about here. Those vampires are also weak to vampire slaying technology. How many we can take? All of them by the silver bullets. Make sure not to hurt the civilians," Wilson said.

"Cool you have a tracker for them all. Well, sources. If there is 500 then won't we need more people to take them on?" Rick asked.

"Good question. Yes, we will. But if we kill one then they will flock over to us like rag dolls. They have that weakness. If we corner ourselves to a block then we just need to focus on what's in front of us. They will go after rescuing a loss of one of them, including their leader Rag Tag. A fitting name too," Wilson said.

They passed the toughest challenge yet with the silver bullet guns and moved to the training ground. Here, they had to physically move through it and reach the other side without getting sidetracked or falling once. Once more, Sue struggled the most, but with the encouragement of Mat, she made it to the other side. Then it was timed. Whoever made it the fastest won a package. They did it and Tiffany ended up winning the package. Then they made it back to the apartment. No vampire slayers encountered. They considered it a good thing. Their plan was to leave the city and go to Tuskany by evening in four days time. The full moon will be to their disadvantage, but they intend to seek out power of the guns to their full advantage.

The day came and the werewolf hunters visited their apartment. They came along in bat form and noticed a whole slew of cars following. The bounty hunters had found backup! These were rather inexperienced werewolf hunters and vampire slayers, but had passed the training to their pleasure. There were a few vampires and werewolves among them as well given immunity to silver attacks to face the task. 20 cars followed them and most of the cars fit four people. They hadn't forgotten to train the other vampires on eating vegan meat with lots of blood too. The drive down was uneventful. As soon as they reached the town, they heard rumors of camps nearby. Camps with lots of people in it. The werewolves and vampires were near. They couldn't do anything about it because the effect of silver would only be deadly to the vampires and not the werewolves. They were capable of dying at this point.

"Well, we're bounty hunters here to ward off the werewolves and vampires. Is there, by chance, 500 of all these camps nearby?" Wilson asked a local.

"Yes, we assume there is at least that many. Maybe more. Is this some kind of attack going on or something?" the local replied.

"Yes. A werewolf attack on the night of the full moon. We assume there are a few Alphas leading this attack. But can't attack until they're transformed into werewolf form. The vampires is a different story. As you can see, vampires don't sparkle in the sunlight like gems."

"Yes, I heard of that rumor before. Well, there's no sparkling being walking around those camps as far as the rumors go. But anyone walks in ends up a vampire. So humans aren't allowed to go there. Vampires and werewolves both end up disappearing in the camps as well."

"We are prepared. We're the most skilled hunters of the land. I'd hate to see anyone fall but it'd be from stupidity. Well, the sun is setting. Time to be prepared. I'd tell the town to take cover in their own homes if I were you. Better yet, shelter around us."

"Will do. I'll spread the word. There are thousands of us. Some might fall tonight if you aren't quick enough."

The sun set down and the moon came out. Alicia, Tiffany, Rick, Bobby, Sue, and Mat took positions. Their hearts pounded wildly. In the distance they could hear the howls. Minutes later five vampires and four werewolves showed up. The silver bullets proved to be effective. More started coming in and they saw they were being joined by others, who had also spread out. One by one a few vampire slayers succumbed to vampire bites and werewolf infections, making them werepyres. The fight continued long and hard as the vampires and werewolves dribbled in. There had to be more than 500 of them, they were certain about that. Then the Alphas appeared, appearing to have complete immunity to the impending silver bullets. Still, the silver bullets were slowing them down. The other vampires and werewolves were fighting to resist joining their side. The six vampires knew they had to do something or they too would fall for the Alpha's power. Rag Tag was among them.

"How dare you weaken our gang?" Rag Tag raged with a blow. "Join my side. Together, we will be the most powerful. You ran away from us for too long."

"Never," Alicia said, switching the gun to automatic mode. She locked on and fired, hitting the heart directly.

"You think silver bullets will defeat me? Think again. I took on the immunity. I'm invincible. It will take another Alpha to beat me."

"We won't let you win. Surely the immunity won't last long. I've hit your heart. You will die from that eventually. All of you will."

"I think not."

Just then, Rag Tag collapsed, grasping his heart. The other Alphas did the same as well. The other vampires and werewolves cheered from behind, Alicia had done it. She had freed them from the Alpha's powers. Alicia stopped using her gun as the werewolves transformed back to human. Then the others came running up to her. Rick stopped them in their tracks and held up a box holding a ring. Then he went in front of her.

"I know this may be a bad time, but, Alicia, will you marry me?" Rick held the ring in his hand.

"Yes!" Alicia exclaimed. "Bad timing, but yes, I will!"

"Congratulations," Wilson said and tipped his hat. The werepyres joined their side as well.

"We may be fallen, but we see our efforts aren't a lost cause. We won because of you. Now, we don't like being werepyres but maybe we could do some good in this form," Jack, the former vampire slayer, said.

"I'll teach you all how to be a vegan like these vampires here. Though a diet of chocolate bars just doesn't cut it in my opinion. I'll share my bounty money with these fallen guys. But, there's a bigger bounty offered by the country. We will all need to go and collect that. They are offering it by the person and a great deal too. Your bounty is nothing compared to the country's bounty," Wilson said, patting Alicia on the back.

Back at the apartment a week later the vampires received a letter from the government. Each of them got a check that would last them decades even with paying taxes. The werewolf hunter leader was right. Their bounty was useless compared to the government. They decided to buy a mansion for themselves in the city, to become permanent residents. And reclaim the house they used to live in as it was only six months ago that they ran away due to the gang. It was a good thing property tax hadn't come yet. So they set to work on finding a good mansion as well as return to their old home, which was in shatters. The money they hid was stolen and furniture gone and everything. It was as if a tornado had gone through. Only they knew to blame it on the gang. The money from the government compensated for everything.

"What do we do now?" Rick asked.

"We sell the house as is. It's beyond repair. Somebody will know what to do with it. We can lend money to restore this town to its proper place too." Alicia blushed.

"Alright know it all. I heard this town is being taken over by the government. We're the only ones who have a rightful claim and lost everything. Our savings is spent," Bobby said.

"It's decided. We'll sell this place. Only place not owned by government," Sue spoke up.

"You know, it seemed as if the werepyres were immune to the Alpha's powers. Maybe they were Alphas themselves. What do you think?" Mat thought out loud.

"You're right. They did seem immune to the influence of the Alphas. Maybe we should check on them and ask them to do an experiment on us," Tiffany said.

"Great idea," Mat said.

A month later they bought a mansion and began storing money in it. They also decided to go out and celebrate by buying raw meat with lots of blood in it as well as candy and cake. A vampire saved the day and that was all that mattered. Until a knock on the door came and it was a government agent. They were wanted to be on the same team as Wilson to hunt down a new gang of werewolves. Agreeing to this, they packed their things and set out onto another mission. It was to keep peace or die trying. The marriage would have to wait. More proposals were on the way.
