Drain the swamp!

           Drain the swamp!


         Drain the swamp! It’s a rousing cry,
         But drainage depends on which end’s high.
         A climate change of greed and lies
         Raises the swamp and lets the house subside.
         So which way will the sewage flow
         When the swamp is high and the White House low?
         When corruption rises and scandal reigns,
         Then crooks flood in through backed up drains.
         Drain the swamp! It’s a rousing cry,
         Who knew the drain would lead inside?
