RoE D4 Pt 14

Galloway was going over the files again in the conference room as Joe Marks entered.

“We found bloody clothes at the Brownstone in Tunning where we picked up Mitch Griffin. They were smeared with Rick Hall’s blood. From the style and sizes we’re confident they belong to Kristin Claire and Darrel Michaels.” Joe placed the file on the table.

“Finding that is not a complete surprise. Anything else?”

“No duct tape or anything close to our suspected weapons,” said Joe. “There was DNA belonging to Dean Galloway in one of the rooms, and traces of Shawn Galloway, Tyrel Davis, and Mitch Griffin. It’s starting to look like a second residence to them.”

Galloway merely grunted.

“Is there anything we should know?” Joe shuffled his feet as he looked at the floor.

“Nothing that is pertinent to the case.” said Galloway.

Anna Morgan came in. “Sorry to interrupt. Two of the associates of Claire and Michaels were just checked in at Carrol County Hospital Emergency.”

Galloway stood up. “Do we know the names?”

“No. The deputy who called it in said he didn’t want to broadcast too much information.”

Galloway almost pushed Morgan out of his way as he exited the conference room. “I’m going up there. Tell Tom to meet me there.”

When Kristin woke up Darrel was asleep on his stomach cuddling his pillow. She ruffled his hair slightly. Darrel kept snoring.

Kristin carefully crawled off the mattress and changed her clothes. She slipped out of their section and headed up to the office.

Rob rolled over on the couch and yawned when Kristin came in.
